Adamson Set For Derby Start

Chris Adamson is set to start in goal for the Owls against their steel city neighbours on Saturday.

Boss Paul Sturrock was about to sign a 'keeper on loan this morning but has found it difficult to find anyone suitable for the job.

West Bromich Albion's Russell Hoult and Blackburn Rovers' Peter Enckleman were linked with a loan move to Hillsborough after the injury of David Lucas.

Adamson has performed above expectations in his two appearances though, keeping a clean sheet against Crystal Palace on Saturday, and making a number of good savesin both matches.

Sturrock told the official SWFC site: ''Chris has been very competant. I've still got one more iron in the fire but that wouldn't be in time for the derby.''
