Wednesday boss Brian Laws has extended striker Enoch Showunmi's loan spell at Hillsborough from Bristol City for another month.
The Nigerian international has been heavily involved in the Owls' recent matches since joining on an emergency loan deal and has had a hand in a number of goals, forming a partnership with Marcus Tudgay.
And with Francis Jeffers, Akpo Sodje and Leon Clarke all sidelined, and no incoming strikers on the horizon, Laws has bagged the powerful forward for another month at least, with a third and final month also on offer should all parties agree to the stay.
Laws is also set to discuss a possible loan extension for midfielder Adam Bolder, currently on loan from Queens Park Rangers on a one-month deal.
But Bolder will play no further part in his remaining two matches as a Wednesday player under his current deal, with a yellow card against Barnsley forcing him to sit out the next two matches through suspension.
