Owls Ladies Defend Cup

Sheffield Wednesday Ladies will be looking to defend their Sheffield & Hallam County Cup when they play Doncaster Belles in the final tomorrow (Sunday).

The Ladies, currently sitting fourth in the FA Northern Division, caused an upset last season by winning the competition with a close-fought 1-0 victory over the Women's Premier Division Belles last season.

And they'll be hoping for more of the same of Sunday when they take on the Belles at Stocksbridge Park Steels' ground, kick-off 2pm.

Wednesday Ladies boss Dan Duke said: 'I'm really looking forward to this match, it's my first major final as a manager and I really am optimistic we can defend our title. We've built on what we achieved last year and I feel we have a stronger side than last season as well.'

All support for the Wednesday Ladies is most welcome.
