Tudgay Out For Season

Wednesday have received a blow in the battle against relegation with the news that striker Marcus Tudgay will sit out the rest of the season through injury.

The Owls' top scorer this season, with eight goals, has been sidelined for a number of weeks with a knee injury and will now sit out the rest of the campaign after undergoing surgery that will see him out for six weeks.

But things could have been worse for the former Derby hitman, with fears that he could have been out for six months rather than six weeks, prior to the surgery.

The blow leaves Owls boss Brian Laws with Deon Burton, Ben Sahar, Bartosz Slusarski and Leon Clarke at his disposal in the battle against the drop, with Enoch Showunmi returning from his loan spell to Bristol City.

Great end to a great week. Not.

Think we'll be OK with Deon hitting some form now and seemingly linking up really well with Sahar. Thank goodness Enoch has gone so we won't have to put up with that any more. Be nice to get a look at Bartman on Tuesday night. Think we'll be OK.....

Oh Tuesdsay. My Cov other half is asking what we are going to do to postpone this time. We have turned the pitch into a swimming pool, and a skating rink in the past few months, so I am going for leaves on the lines tee hee!!

The south stand flank isn't far from becoming a bog. Maybe it will swallow up all the coventry 11.... Really **** news about Tudders. Consistently one of our best players this season in my eyes. I hope Burton and Sahar have got over their jet lag. At least we will get to see the Slug run out as a sub! And maybe Luke Boden

We have never needed to keep Enoch - I'd rather have my gran playing than him!
SuperOwls
I'd rather have my nan playing too SuperOwls... and she's blind

Must be somethin seriously up with the training ground or something, we've had a horrd time, since i can remember with injuries, think we'll be ok without Tudgay although he will be missed, Sahar, Burton, Slusarski and Bodenor Clarke should be alright
McQuaid-Owls
He's too inconsistant anyway. Sahar is a class act though, if he can hit some form and stay fit we'll be fine up front. Give Slusarski a run out, let's see what he can do...
