Owls Get Triple Boost

Wednesday boss Brian Laws has received a triple boost in the battle against the drop by securing the services of three of his loan stars until the end of the season.

Ben Sahar (Chelsea), Franck Songo'o (Portsmouth) and Adam Bolder (QPR) have all agreed to extend their stay at Hillsborough and help the Owls' battle against the drop until the end of the season.

The trio will play a key part in Wednesday's survival bid, especially considering the current injury problems at S6.

Israel international Sahar bagged the leveller in the 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe at the weekend to make it two goals since his arrival, and will be available for Tuesday night's derby clash with Sheffield United after being held back from playing international duty by Chelsea.

Songo'o went off injured in the draw at the weekend but is expected to return to the fold sooner rather than later following his recent dazzling displays.

And Adam Bolder, although not a regular since his arrival, will prove crucial given the current injury crisis in midfield, the recent with Sean McAllister being ruled out until the end of the season.

Fair point Bigash but I'm of the personal belief that our centre midfield is too restricted, i don't like kav and bolder playing together and would rather BoB be given a go in what is his preferred position. He's more creative and has a decent shot.

Agreed McQuaid, I'd like to see Bob in there more but maybe paired up with Bolder - he's got more fight than Kav and it would at least ensure Kav wasn't on the pitch to take set pieces!!! Any news of Beevers will be fit for tomorrow night? Did Songoo go off injured - will he be fit too?

Songo'o injury cant be too serious if were gonna keep him for another month. Beevers should be fit for tomorrow and Hinds, both at training today.
