Big Saturday For Wednesday

The Owls may have the weekend off with their clash against Plymouth Argyle moved to Monday night, but it's still a big day for Wednesday fans in the Championship today.

Despite doing nothing wrong today, Wednesday could well find themselves back in the bottom three should results go against us today, and there could well be another confirmed relegation.

Scunthorpe United's fate could well be sealed today should they fail to get a result at promotion-chasing Crystal Palace, and Leicester City pick up a much-needed victory against already-doomed Colchester United at the Walkers Stadium.

Wednesday fans will no doubt be cheering for the U's today though, as a victory for Ian Holloway's Foxes would see Leicester leapfrog Wednesday in the table and see the Owls back in the bottom three going in to their home clash with Plymouth on Monday night.

There will also be notable cheers should results go the way of Preston against Barnsley, Stoke City away at Coventry, Charlton at home to Southampton and Cardiff City at home to Blackpool.

The results up and down the Championship today are certainly going to be interesting...

Well apart from Barnsley winning it hasn't been a bad day results wise for us. Got to win Monday night though if we are going to survive!

thats been a great day apart from barnsley winning..if we win on monday we climb about 5 places..just need to win and if we play like we did against the pigs we will win..its all in our hands boys..as you know we play leicester and blackpool so if we go down from this situation then we deserve it..up the owls.

2 wins from next 2 games and we're ok, then we can go into last 2 games and relaxed and not a bag of nerves
