Rolling Bolder Scores Actim High

Adam Bolder posted his highest score of the season in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship, as Sheffield Wednesday picked up a crucial point in the derby with city rivals Sheffield United.

Bolder notched 43 points and also contributed six tackles, one interception and 16 passes as the Owls drew 2-2 at Bramall Lane.

The 27-year-old then added six points in the 1-1 draw with Plymouth at Hillsborough to sit 155th in the Index with 300 points.

Wednesday have two players in the top 100, with Lee Grant in 40th with 449 points and Tommy Spurr sitting in 95th place with 388 points.

Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the season and so far the top five Sheffield Wednesday players are:

Player Ranking Position Ranking Index Score

Lee Grant, 40th, 9th-Ranked Goalkeeper, 449

Tommy Spurr, 95th, 32nd-Ranked Defender, 388

Adam Bolder, 155th, 45th-Ranked Midfielder, 300

Marcus Tudgay, 165th, 39th-Ranked Striker, 291

Richard Hinds, 172nd, 61st-Ranked Defender, 285

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player`s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.

Well done to Bolder, but Grant for me is the player of the season after a shakey start. Would have been Wood if he had played more games.
will it ever happen

SuperOwls
if he'd played all season yes by a mile but grant has been solid all season bar the 1st few games
FUTURES BLUE N WHITE
Who would have though that Grant would have made such an impact

Well done Bolder. What about Tommy **** Spurr?! Most improved player for me. Player of season between Grant & Beevers. Could have been a lot more in contention if they weren't all crocked. The God amongst men that is Akpo Sodje would have easily scored 20 if he'd have played all season. Can't wait for him to terrorise defences next season. Also can't wait to see Macca back....

Don't forget the ever resourceful Marcus Tudgay too. That boy works his arse off. He may not score many, but his work rate is immense
