Gilbert - Survival Is In Our Hands

Gilbert: Championship survival is in our own hands

Peter Gilbert looks forward to Saturday's relegation battle against Leicester City and admits that last-weekend's sending off was a disappointing end to his season.

'It`s been a disappointing end to the season for me but the important thing is that, with two games to go, we are the masters of our own destiny.

'We may be in the relegation zone but because we are playing teams at the bottom in our last two games, if we win both we will stay up.

'There`s a chance our rivals Sheffield United could play a part in our destiny as they play Southampton on the last day of the season. But we don`t want our survival to depend on that. United are a professional club who go out to win all their games and I`m sure that one will be no different. As long as we win our matches we won`t need to rely on them.'

Awesome opinions. Well done at stating the obvious Dilbert. Unlike Laws, who claims our fate is in others' hands. Fool

It was in your hands last week when you got sent off for letting that little Scottish knob wind you up. It was fortunately ou of your hands against Leicester which we won. Mmmm, let me think, play with or without Dilbert?
