Owls Ladies Looking To Strengthen

Owls Ladies Looking To Strengthen

The Sheffield Wednesday Ladies team are looking to build on their successful first year back in the top flight by recruiting new players for their 2008-09 squad.

Daniel Duke's Owls' Ladies side are looking for new players to come along to trials over the close season to be part of the FA Tesco Premier League for next season.

Duke said: 'We have some very experienced and talented players but we are looking for players to come in and make valuable additions to our squad as a whole and help us push for promotion.

'We are a progressive club who can offer a great state of the art training facilities at Sheffield Wednesday Training Ground, along with a first class coaching team and the technical support.'

Trials will be held over the summer in June, and anyone interested should contact Daniel by e-mailing your interest to him at dan.duke@swladiesfc.co.uk.

All enquiries will be dealt with in the strictest confidence, and any further details can also be found by contacting the team manager.

Good to see another Vital site backing their Ladies side. Some good stuff played by the ladies just lacking the more physical side, but usually enjoyable.
