Owls Go Dutch - Again

Wednesday have announced that they'll be touring Holland once again for their pre-season preparations this July.

The Owls enjoyed a productive pre-season tour of the Netherlands last season, and have announced that they'll be returning to take part in two matches against local clubs in their five-day stay this summer.

Wednesday will set off to Holland on Sunday, July 13 and will face HFC Haarlem on Tuesday, July 15, and Stormvogels Telstar on Thursday, July 17 with both matches kicking off at 7pm.

And Wednesday will be based at HSV Football Club in Heiloo, North Holland, with both matches taking place at their ground, while Wednesday will also have training sessions at their facilities.

Admission to the matches will be priced at 5 Euros and can be purchased by e-mailing HSV on info@w-hsv.nl.

Supporters wanting to make the trip to Holland can check the website www.eurobudget.nl, clicking on the Sheffield Wednesday budget to get all the best information for travel and accommodation, or just for more information about the area.

Isn't this tour the same one that served as our preperation last year? And we had a really productive start to the season didn't we... We need to be playing stronger opposition so when we play our first competitive Championship games we don't get knocked for six. Deja Vu or what!? Just wait, it'll be floods next... Then the signing of an incredibly injury prone player and the collapse of takeover talks... Sorry guys and girls I know I'm negative but I'm just *****ed off with it all.

i am going to holland in the summer...between the 22nd july and 5th august for the port of rotterdam tournament, typcal.
