Bradford Target Burch

Former Wednesday goalkeeper Rob Burch has been targetted by former Blade Stuart McCall at Bradford City after being released from his contract at Hillsborough.

The former England youth goalkeeper, now 24, was one of a number released from the Owls by boss Brian Laws at the end of last season as he started to re-build his side for the 2008-09 campaign.

But Burch now looks like he could well have a new club sooner rather than later, with League Two side Bradford taking a keen interest in the stopper.

And the Bantams are not the only club showing interest in Burch, who made just three appearances in between the sticks for the Owls.

'Rob is back in the county next week and we'll be having another discussion with him. But I know there's a lot of interest,' McCall told the official Bradford City website.

I agree completely Mick, with Grant solid between stick and getting better with each game he knew his chance would be few and far between. Good luck for future Burch hope he does well wherever he does go. UP THE OWLS !!
