Young Owls Fight Back

A young Wednesday side fought from 2-0 down at Sheffield FC on Wednesday night to take a share of the spoils in an entertaining 2-2 draw.

The Owls' first team were given a rest following their 1-0 defeat at Chesterfield on Tuesday night, allowing the Owls young guns a chance to impress the present Sean McAuley against the UniBond Premier League side.

Kenny Lunt and Owls' second choice stopper Richard O'Donnell were the only first teamers in the squad for the clash, which saw a similar line-up to the side that drew 1-1 at Stocksbridge Park Steels last week.

Mukhtar Mohammed and Kenny Lunt bagged the goals for Wednesday as they came from 2-0 down to take a share of the spoils in the annual friendly clash.
