Hinds Out For Three Months

Hinds Out For Three Months

Wednesday's early season injury woes have continued with the news that utility man Richard Hinds will be out of action for around three months with a broken leg.

The former Scunthorpe man picked up the injury - a fracture of the fibula - in the 4-1 defeat at Molineux at the weekend, adding to boss Brian Laws' injury concerns.

Regular right-back Frank Simek is still out on the sidelines and isn't ready for a return to action yet, leaving Laws looking at the loan market to plug the gap at the back.

Laws told the Sheffield Star: 'We'll be looking hopefully to bring somebody in.'

Steve Watson, who was used in midfield at the weekend, can also play at right-back and could fill in there for Saturday's visit of Preston North End should Laws fail to find a replacement in time.

How many more injuries are we going to get? We're not going to be able to field an 11 let alone a 16 if this carries on! Whatever you do Laws, DO NOT play Watson at RB, it just doesn't work!

You're right NicNac. Watson has approximately zero pace. However, on the other hand JJ is as quick as anything but equally crap at RB. What about Sam Sodje on loan? Not in Reading team and quality champ player

I am sorry to post a comment with no Owls-related content, but why do people always always always respond to bfl? It serves to prove that the Pigs are more interested in happenings at S6 than their own pig sty and fair enough. The reason it does my head in is that I see 9 comments and, showing remarkable naivety, think people might actually be writing about the Owls. bfl has the right to come on here and write his cr*p, this is ok. If any of you were to support an inferior team you may also desecrate the forums of other bigger clubs. Empathise my good Owls, it's what makes us better. And if bfl is right in his constant contention that a number of Owls go and write on the Pig forum, then shame on those Owls for sinking to such ridiculous levels. So what if bfl comes on here and laughs at our never-ending injury fiasco. Who cares? I didn't write on their wall, laughing my t*ts off when Hulse broke his leg in the Premier. I didn't laugh and boast on their forum that they were '10 points clear and ****ed it up.' Believe me, I laughed myself silly over both of these but I keep them personal. I support Wednesday, therefore, I write on the Wednesday board. By definition, this is not rocket science.
