Owls' Boden Heads For Spireites

Young Wednesday forward Luke Bodan has moved to League Two side Chesterfield on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old had been tipped to feature more regularly in Wednesday's first team this season, after playing in the majority of friendly matches and also featuring in the Owls' Carling Cup defeat against Rotherham United last month.

But it looks like Owls' boss Brian Laws is looking for Boden to pick up first-team experience on a more regular basis at League Two level.

Fellow Wednesday academy prospect Sean McAllister benefitted from a spell on loan in the lower league's at Mansfield Town and it's hoped Boden will achieve similar benefits from his spell at Chesterfield.

Boden is likely to go straight in to the squad to face Rochdale in League Two this weekend, and Vital Sheffield Wednesday will been keeping tabs on his progress.

Hope he can bang some in and get kicked about a bit. Will make him a better player....and maybe he'll come on like McAllister has.

Hulmey, if our boss has selected him for more than one friendly game, he can't be that bad. And with our defence looking as solid as it normally is (Reading exempted of course), it would be difficult to see him play regular first team games. This can only be good for him.

Give Sheard 7 business days to name the people behid the bid and provide clear proof of funds that is not connected to criminals. If he can't do it, cease all communication and tell him to sling his hook. Enough is enough.

Just read the article, this is pretty much the proof Sheard has not got the money or the knowledge to pull this off. If he did have the money and the buisness acumen he would be using a tried and trusted company to conduct his business dealings, not ones he's seen on the internet connected to convicted fraudsters

I've heard that Sheard is actually fronting a triple takeover of Wednesday, United and Sheffield FC. They are to be merged and marketed worldwide as Sheffield FC - the worlds oldest Football Club. This is why Mccabe is de-listing United from the Stock Exchange. Anybody else heard this?

I'm still behind Sheard. I think crap like this was bound to come out when patience begins to wear thin. We'll be alright.

Id like to believe sheard, but the only things that seems to be standing in his way is proving the funds, all selling parties have more or less said so, if he has it in an account why is it not been sorted ?

Radon, if that is true, then fans won't stand for it. Owls, Blades, or otherwise.
