Danny Reet Goes Out On Loan

Young Owls player Danny Reet has joined Cola League 2 side Bury on loan.

The Sheffield Wednesday striker has joined on a months loan and has been given permission by The Owls to play in the FA Cup first round, despite the fact he will then be cup tied.

Paul Sturrock wants the player to gain more experience in his development having been in good form for the U18's and reserves this season.

Danny played for Bury's reserves midweek as a trial and managed to score within 10 minutes! Bury ended up beating Blackpool 4-1.

Bury boss Chris Casper said: 'I saw what I was looking for from Danny after only ten minutes; he ran the channel, showed some good pace and scored a good goal with his weaker foot. He kept the ball well and showed everything you want to see from a centre forward and he will be with us on a month's loan.'

His squad number will be 31 and he goes straight into the reckoning for their FA Cup match tomorrow.
