Young Magpies Too Strong For Young Owls

Young Magpies Too Strong For Young Owls

Table topping Newcastle overcame Wednesday at Middlewood Road on Saturday.

In the top versus bottom affair Wednesday put up a valiant fight. The Owls were 3-0 down after 55 minutes, with the lethal Nile Ranger bagging himself another goal. Wednesday did get a consolation from a Liam Palmer penalty and despite another defeat Wednesday shouldn`t be too down heartened.

The table doesn`t make for good reading at the moment, but, the Owls do have easier looking fixtures coming up against Nottingham Forest, Leeds, Barnsley and Derby as they search for their first win of the season.
