Return of the Bart?

Return of the Bart?

Polish striker Bartosz Slusarski is being linked with a move back to the Owls.

The 26-year-old striker is well out of the picture at West Brom and he could well be lured back to Hillsborough, for a second spell by Brian Laws.

The Owls are currently well stocked in the striking department, but, the front line have certainly been firing blanks lately.

Slusarski showed in his spell last term that he bring with him a hard work ethic, assists and the odd goal and could offer the Owls something different, especially in Sodje's absence.

he did a decent job last time but he's got hardly any match practice we're light at the back and light upfront a major clear out is needed in january time to make our christmas lists/wishes :(

I get the feeling that BL will be trying to off-load/replace two or three players in January.

Who would you off load? Personally Leon would go (controversial with some I know but I'm ready for the backlash!) and Smith back to Chelsea. Personally I don't think we can spare anyone else, we even need Gilbert as back-up which shows what a sorry state we're in. Bring Bartman back though

we need someone in midfield who can influence the way we play, at the moment we are lightweight and don't have the physical strength that is needed, at times the opposition have been going straight through us like the midfield doesn't exsist (more so away) donny overran us, it seems like when we do have the ball we never see a cutting edge pass, just the sideways shuffle, midfield has to be priority!!

What are you on about BFL? Super, although I don't agree that Leon should go, I think it's a possibility. As for anyone else, I think BL may try to do a deal with Crewe to get rid of Lenny and if he wanted to get Bart in, I think Burton may be on his way out, in addition to Smith going back. I agree with your point about midfield though, but if BL could get rid of Lenny, that would free up a decent chunk for a creative/strong midfielder.

Crazy that Lenny is on what a creative/strong midfielder could be on!! What an idiot! I agree that Burton, though I like him, may be on his way too though to get Bart in would make the loss easier to take. Burton's probably too much like a poor man's Tudders. Agreed with the midfield comments too

i know this will cause some controversy, the players i would get rid of are sodje, jeffers, smith, burton, small, gilbert, esajas.
