Return of the Bart?

Polish striker Bartosz Slusarski is being linked with a move back to the Owls.

The 26-year-old striker is well out of the picture at West Brom and he could well be lured back to Hillsborough, for a second spell by Brian Laws.

The Owls are currently well stocked in the striking department, but, the front line have certainly been firing blanks lately.

Slusarski showed in his spell last term that he bring with him a hard work ethic, assists and the odd goal and could offer the Owls something different, especially in Sodje's absence.

he did a decent job last time but he's got hardly any match practice we're light at the back and light upfront a major clear out is needed in january time to make our christmas lists/wishes :(
WhoNeedsKaka
Enjoyed watching him play on his last spell with us and would love to see him back!
will it ever happen
something fresh is needed, oh and byebye lenny, about time!
dbblue
I get the feeling that BL will be trying to off-load/replace two or three players in January.
US Owl
Who would you off load? Personally Leon would go (controversial with some I know but I'm ready for the backlash!) and Smith back to Chelsea. Personally I don't think we can spare anyone else, we even need Gilbert as back-up which shows what a sorry state we're in. Bring Bartman back though
SuperOwls
we need someone in midfield who can influence the way we play, at the moment we are lightweight and don't have the physical strength that is needed, at times the opposition have been going straight through us like the midfield doesn't exsist (more so away) donny overran us, it seems like when we do have the ball we never see a cutting edge pass, just the sideways shuffle, midfield has to be priority!!
dbblue
this is all set up for a hendrie winning goal im affriad

What are you on about BFL? Super, although I don't agree that Leon should go, I think it's a possibility. As for anyone else, I think BL may try to do a deal with Crewe to get rid of Lenny and if he wanted to get Bart in, I think Burton may be on his way out, in addition to Smith going back. I agree with your point about midfield though, but if BL could get rid of Lenny, that would free up a decent chunk for a creative/strong midfielder.
US Owl
Crazy that Lenny is on what a creative/strong midfielder could be on!! What an idiot! I agree that Burton, though I like him, may be on his way too though to get Bart in would make the loss easier to take. Burton's probably too much like a poor man's Tudders. Agreed with the midfield comments too
SuperOwls
i know this will cause some controversy, the players i would get rid of are sodje, jeffers, smith, burton, small, gilbert, esajas.
ecco owl
r u mad ecco owl sodje, jeffers and esajas?. the others i can agree with but them u must be barking mad. sodje is only one hu can finish jeffers wen he 100% fit will give defenders in the championship nightmares and esajas wen played tears full backs apart.
maltby_owl
let me explain maltby. i you have a car thats always breaking down,i would try and patch it up then sell it on, it's no good when it's costing you money but never on the road. that explains sodje, jeffers, as for esajas he does'nt excite me like jj does, he not defensive minded and he's very fragile.
ecco owl
ecco no matter how much you explain thats still mad sodje isnt a crock at all just usual wednesday curse hes been pretty much injury free before, jeffers is the best finisher we have and esajas is that unexciting that hes the top goal scorer and 2 assists off the bench today
wesp
that would leave us with clarke as the only remaining striker because tuggy would have to play on the wing seen as youre gettin rid of small and Esajas, crazytown youre surely having us on isnt the squad small enough
