Fulham Halt Owls' FA Cup Ticket Pricing

A failure to reach an agreement with Premier League side Fulham has meant Wednesday haven't been able to reduce ticket prices for their FA Cup 3rd round clash as much as they'd hoped.

The club have revealed they were wanting to cut ticket prices to just £10 for adults and £5 concession for the clash with Fulham in the first weekend of January, something the Owls have done on numerous occasions for early-round cup clashes of late.

But tickets will now be priced at £15 for adults and £5 concessions - still a reduction on matchday ticket prices, but not as much as Wednesday would have hoped.

'You have to have an agreement with the club that you are playing against and we've been unable to reach an agreement so we have to follow FA guidelines,' Owls chief executive Kaven Walker told BBC Radio Sheffield.

'It's a big blow to all the Sheffield Wednesday fans and that is the part that saddens me because we are trying to do everything we can to bring the fans back in.

'We saw an uplift in attendance at the weekend, and that in the credit climate that everyone is having to deal with.

'The FA Cup is all about atmosphere historically. It's great competition and we would like to get the biggest crowd possible'

It has also be confirmed that the match will be a 3pm kick-off of Saturday, January 3.

His first loan spell was a success for me. Worked very hard and grabbed a couple of much needed goals. Hope he can do the same this time around but with a few more goals being scored. Couldn't be more happy for him coming in and Burton going out!!
will it ever happen
This will cheer all wednesday fans! Enjoy!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNDRt-Ze-yU
