Support The Owls Of The Future!

Wednesday may not be in FA Cup 3rd Round action until January but the Owls youngsters will be in action in the FA Youth Cup 3rd round at Hillsborough on Thursday night.

Having already beaten Leeds United and Stoke City in the competition, Sean McAuley's young guns will welcome their Millwall counterparts to S6 on Thursday night, with the side looking for all the support they can get from Wednesdayites.

Admission for the match is just £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, with the match kicking-off at 7pm, and the competition always proving good value for Owls fans in attendance.

Current first team players including Mark Beevers, Tommy Spurr and Richard Wood have all been involved in FA Youth Cup action in the Owls academy, and there will no doubt be some future Wednesday stars on display this Thursday night.

If the Owls can tame the Lions, a top Premier League club could await in the next round.

If Small, Esajas and JJ are out on Saturday, some of those young fellas might be getting some time on the first team subs bench.

on what was a freezing night the only player to stand out was nathan modest, looked lively and kept at it, nice goal early on for connelly but a failure to keep the ball and a lack of using the wide men led to millwall getting a deserved passage to the next round
