JJ Contends For Fulham FA Cup Return

JJ Contends For Fulham FA Cup Return

Wednesday boss Brian Laws could receive a timely boost ahead of this Saturday's FA Cup 3rd Round clash with Fulham with the pending return of winger Jermaine Johnson.

The former Bradford City winger has been sidelined through injury for the Owls' festive run of matches but could add some much-needed fire power to the Wednesday attack when the Premier League side visit Hillsborough this weekend.

Owls boss Laws has been forced to blood a number of youngsters, including Luke Boden and Nathan Modest, during an injury-hit period for the Owls.

And Johnson's return could come at the perfect time for the Owls ahead of a potentially money-spinning clash with the Cottagers.

Laws has also revealed that Akpo Sodje and Leon Clarke are also set for a January return to bolster Wednesday's attacking options.

That's all are problems solved then, im going to go down and put a bet on. Not on us winning on Johnson not lifting his head more than once in the game to see who he can pass to. Blinkered carthorse springs to mind

why didn't laws play jj out wide and boden up front, he keeps on playing people out of position? jj missed 2 sitters today which cost us. the midfield is shocking, just stand off all the time and let the oponents play, and when we have the ball they give it away, don't rate o'conor and m'calister desperatly need a ball winner and a playmaker looking at this squad and the way laws messes it about we are in for a relegation scrap unless we get some cash backing and i wouldn't trust laws with my cash.

BL has done a great job but some of his team selections do baffle me. It's quite clear that JJ cant play up-front so why play him there? Like you say TC why not play Boden up-front and JJ out wide or even play 5 in the middle and play Jeffers up-front on his own?
will it ever happen
