Owls' Hinds Set For Walsall Return

Long-term injury absentee Richard Hinds is set to return to action in the famous blue and white stripes in today's reserve team clash with Walsall at Hillsborough (kick-off 2pm).

An outing today will see the former Scunthorpe player and die-hard Wednesdayite return to action sooner than expected after fears he'd be out for eight months following a leg fracture from the clash at Wolves back in August.

Hinds returned to training before Christmas and it's anticipated he'll play 45 minutes of today's clash with the Midlands outift as he makes a steady progression back to full fitness.

The sight of Hinds, a useful utility squad player, will be a welcome sight to boss Brian Laws in light of the current injury problems at S6.

And the Owls boss will no doubt be in attendance at the clash today in the hope that the 28-year-old will come through unscathed and ready to continue his progression.
