Injury Ends Lupoli Hopes
Young Arsenal striker Arturo Lupoli will be going nowhere after suffering a foot injury which will rule him out for the rest of the season.
Rumours from Highbury this morning pointed towards the Owls making a season-long loan bid for the prolific youngster, but reports emerged that Brighton & Hove Albion were on the verge of snapping up the Italian.
The Seagulls hopes were dashed this afternoon though, as news came through that Lupoli picked up a foot injury in the Arsenal reserves match against Charlton Athletic on Monday night.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and coach Liam Brady had agreed for the youngster to help Brighton in the fight against relegation, but the Seagulls will now have to look elsewhere before Thursday's deadline.
