Owls To Reduce Ticket Prices

The good news continues to come flooding in from Hillsborough with the club announcing that ticket prices for the remainder of the season are to be significantly reduced.

Fans have been complaining of the ticket prices throughout the season, especially due to the credit crunch, and new chairman Lee Strafford has acted quickly to reduce ticketsa in an attempt to get the fans back to Hillsborough.

An announcement regarding the new ticket prices will be made on Monday, January 19, with ticket sales for the home matches against Birmingham City and Barnsley being put on hold and supporters already having bought tickets for those matches being refunded the difference.

The club have also today announced that cut-price tickets for the home clash with Charlton next Saturday, January 17, will now be available to buy on the turnstile.

Not wanting to leave season ticket holders out of the discounts, the club have also said that offers for season ticket holders will also be announced after the Charlton match.

The news just keeps getting better. Great going by the new men, let it continue i say. All we need now is the results on the pitch and everyone will be happy!!
will it ever happen
At last some common sense! And not forgetting about deals for season ticket holders too. That's why we're all walking round with smiles on our faces at the mo - up the Owls!

Wait for what? The yard sale at the sty? Beattie off to Stoke. Not a good sign selling your star striker in the middle of a promotion push. Beattie knew the it was the only way he would wear red & white stripes in the premiership.

BFL - firstly, I can't believe you're slating someone else for a spelling error on here - reading the majority of your messages one would think you'd never been past the school gates. Secondly, I can't believe you keep going on about us reducing ticket prices. What's the issue. If we want to reduce prices and inevitably get more fans in (which would happen at ANY club if prices were reduced)...so what??? How does it affect you? I really don't understand your point - or is it just that you're on here because you've nothing better to do than write mindless abusive messages. There was a time when you were actually engaging in funny, amusing banter on here. If you can't manage that then stay away, no-one wants to read your drivel.
