Wolves' Gleeson Latest To Be Linked

Wolves' Gleeson Latest To Be Linked

As the transfer rumour mill continues to spin, at Vital Sheffield Wednesday we've heard the latest name to be linked with a move is Wolves youngster Stephen Gleeson.

The 20-year-old has yet to make a start for Mick McCarthy's men but has impressed while on loan during two stints with Stockport County.

And Owls boss Brian Laws is known for getting the best out of rough, young diamonds as he looks to work with the a limited budget at Hillsborough during the January transfer window.

Gleeson has represented the Republic of Ireland Under-21's four times, scoring three goals along the way and has also already won full international honours on two occassions.

The Dubliner is a midfielder, an area Laws is looking to bolster, and could fit the bill nicely should Wolves want to part company with their hot prospect.

Heard he's a good player but a bit of a lightweight and gets knocked off the ball quite easily. Not for me i'm afraid. We need someone strong and creative in the middle of the park.
will it ever happen
