Yeovil Sign Rocastle

Yeovil Sign Rocastle

Out-of-favour Owls midfielder Craig Rocastle has joined League One side Yeovil until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old looked set to join League One rivals Swindon Town yesterday, but the deal appears to have hit a snag at the last minute.

The Glovers sit just three points clear of the League One trap door, and will see Rocastle as a big singing in the fight for survival.

The former Chelsea man has struggled for form this season, and has been told he can leave the club by boss Paul Sturrock.

Sturrock signed Rocky on a two-and-a-half year deal from Chelsea in February 2005. He's played just 23 games for the Owls during that time, scoring one goal.

Rocaslte will go straight in to the Yeovil squad for the game against Tranmere Rovers this weekend.

Pleased for the bloke, honest guy, seems like a hard worker and will be good at that level. Yeovil fans should be well pleased.
