Owls Confirm Blades Ticket Details

Wednesday have confirmed that they won't be sending back the 3,000 allocation sent for the Sheffield derby at Bramall Lane and have released ticket details for the clash.

Some Owls fans were angry that the red and white side of the City had only given Wednesday fans the lower tier of the Bramall Lane end - just 3,000 tickets - despite usually getting both tiers of the stand.

But Wednesday have today released ticket details for the clash, including beam back details to Hillsborough when all tickets for the derby match have been sold out.

A statement on the official Owls site reads: 'SWFC has listened to our supporters, and have agreed with Sheffield United that if all the tickets for the seats at Bramall Lane allocated to Sheffield Wednesday are sold we can arrange to 'Beam Back' the match to Hillsborough giving more Owls supporters the opportunity to watch the game.

'Under Football League rules a Beam Back cannot take place unless and until all of the tickets for the away supporters are sold out, therefore this cannot be confirmed until the away ticket allocation has been exhausted.

'We have already sourced the equipment needed to put the Beam Back event on, but cannot finalise this arrangement until the away ticket allocation is sold out.'

Tickets for the match at Bramall Lane will go on sale to season ticket holders on Monday, January 19, with members able to pick tickets up from Wednesday, January 21.

General sale will take place on Friday, January 23, with Owls MasterCard holders able to pick them up, if remaining, a day earlier on Thursday, January 22.

thats what happened when we licked you 2-1 at swillsborough in 2005/06. the beam back is a good move. As for sending the tickets back - that would be great because the demand for tickets are sought after unlike at your falling down shed!!

Are you still breathing Pigforlife. I think it's very sad what is happening. we used to get more tickets when your stadium was a dump lol and it still is and now we get less tickets. Are the tickets that sought after because Brian Laws superstars are playing and you all want to see them? I thought so. :-)

Beattie has seen sense and f***ed off!

Your doing it again building up the derby only to be beaten by wednesday and the demand is so high for the tickets because these a couple of thousand wednesdaynites willing to sit in the home end because your lot are muppets and dont give us the full 6000 wot we give to u. so next year its likely your lot will only get 3000 the lower tier and wednesday fans will be thowing coins on you.

I just worried that we might be pegged back by another Beattie special, your only quality player. Oh no hang on - you've just sold him. Its every players dream to play for Stoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
