Owls Target Slusarski Makes Polish Switch

Former Wednesday loan striker, and transfer target Bartosz Slusarski has returned home to Poland after signing for Cracovia this week.

Slusarski, on loan at Hillsborough from West Brom for a second time last month, was expected to sign a full contract at S6 in the January transfer window.

But instead the Polish hitman has opted for a return back home and has secured a deal with Polish league side Cracovia, with reports saying he's signed a three-year deal with the club.

'I'm happy to be back in Poland,' Slusarski told 'Polish Soca' website.

'I had offers from some other clubs, but the Cracovia deal seemed the most solid one for me. I want to now rebuild my football career here, and help Cracovia stay in the Ekstraklasa.'

The 27-year-old made seven appearances in his second loan stint at S6, scoring just the one goal but having been used wide on the left rather than his preferred striker sole.

Good luck to the lad. Would have liked him to have a good go at S6.
will it ever happen
Agree wieh, he began to show some real promise at the end of last season when he got regular starts, would have liked him to hang around with us. Good luck to him back in Poland
