Owls Fans Snap Up Blades Tickets

Owls Fans Snap Up Blades Tickets

Tickets for the second Sheffield derby clash of the season at Bramall Lane have been snapped up by Wednesdayites in just two hours today.

All 3,000 tickets for the Bramall Lane lower tier have been sold to Wednesday fans for the clash, which takes place at the red and white side of Sheffield on Saturday, February 7.

Fans queued up in the wind and rain at the Hillsborough ticket office from the early hours this morning to ensure their tickets for the clash, forking out £29 for an adult ticket.

But the quick sale of tickets means that fans who missed out will get the chance to see the match at a live beamback at Hillsborough, with arrangements being finalised and details being released in due course.

according to my mate who works in the wendy ticket office the big screen is going infront of the north stand. with only the north stand open. would make sense in front of the south stand as its bigger but perhaps viewing would be difficult from the top tier, i dunno!! a good move though. we did this when we bet you 2-1 (remember the brilliant tongy free kick and akinbiyi's amazing finish both infront of the wendy kop!!
