Tudgay Leaps Up The Ladder

In form Owls hitman Marcus Tudgay had the highest score of any player in the Championship Actim Index this week.

Marcus' two goals and excellent all-round display in the 4-1 drubbing of Charlton earned him a whopping 48 points and boosted him to 33rd in the index. This in addition to him grabbing a place in the Football League's Championship Team Of The Week.

Further reward for the Owls resurgence in recent weeks sees four more Wednesday players in the Actim Top 100: Lee Grant (#43), Richard Wood (#80), Tommy Spurr (#85 and also in the Team Of The Week) and the old fella Steve Watson at #93.

Our boys must be doing something right, the stats say so! Long may the good form continue.

Tudgay is under-rated. He never hits the headlines in the way some others do, but he is an essential part of our team. His work ethic is second to none.

Cant fault his attitude one little bit. Always puts the effort in and should get more goals then he has.
will it ever happen
worth his weight in gold

Agreed! Tudders has to be one of the first on the teamsheet, he gives so much and works his ass off!!!!! Great player and very under-rated in terms of headlines!
