Owls' Grant Up For PFA Award

Wednesday's in-form goalkeeper Lee Grant has been recognised for his tip-top form by being nominated for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for January.

The Owls' stopper has been arguably Wednesday's player of the season so far, with media reports linking him to a move to a Premier League club, with Manchester United linked with the former Derby County stopper.

And some have even gone as far as to put his name forward for a potential place in the England squad such are his top-drawer performances between the sticks this season.

And he could see his form rewarded after being nominated for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for January - quite a rare honour for a goalkeeper.

Grant will be up against Reading's Kevin Doyle, Wolves' Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Swansea's Jason Scotland for the gong.

There's just over a week to go before the winner's named, and fans can get there votes in by visiting the PFA section of the GiveMeFootball.com website.
