Vital Sheffield Wednesday have teamed up with Eckington Snooker Centre to bring you the chance of a lifetime...the chance to play against reigning Embassy World Snooker Champion Shaun Murphy.

The bidding has started and has already attracted a high amount of interest. Whether you play often, down at the pub, or have never even picked up a cue before, it doesn't matter - the highest bidder wins!

The lucky winner will play a full frame of snooker under match conditions, in front of upto 170 people. A professional referee will be on hand to look over proceedings.

The winner will also have the chance to have a photograph with Shaun, and a recorded copy of your frame is included in the prize.

The frame will be part of an excellent night's entertainment which will see Murphy play a total of 12 frames against some of region's best young snooker hopefuls. A free buffet will be included, and a bar is on hand to drown your sorrows (unless you pull something out the hat and beat the world champion!).

Last year's event went down a storm with snooker legend Jimmy White pulling in the punters and showing off his snookering skills. This year's event promises to be even better - falling just days before Murphy defends his crown at the Crucible theatre.

The events is taking place at Eckington Snooker Centre, Sheffield, on Friday 7th April. Doors open at 7pm.
