Wragg, Bang, Thank You Rams!

Sheffield Wednesday's Under-18s defeated Derby County at Middlewood Road on Saturday, for their first win of 2009.

A cool finish from forward Liam Palmer and an unbelievable 60 yard effort from Max Wragg, gave the Owls a comfortable win over their Midland's opponents.

The Owls were easily the better side and they thoroughly deserved the three points.

The win lifts the Owls off the bottom of the league table. Leeds' defeat to Sheffield United also gives them breathing space and McAuley's youngsters go into next week's game at Newcastle with some renewed confidence.
