'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Grant Scoops PFA Honour

Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant has seen his superb season continue by collecting the PFA Fans' Championship Player of the Month gong for January.

The in-form stopper was named among the best players in the division when nominations for the gong were released last month.

And his tip-top form in between the sticks for the Owls has seen him take the award for January ahead of the likes of Reading's Kevin Doyle and Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.

The former England under-21 goalkeeper has seen praise heaped on it this season following his performances in goal for Wednesday.

And those performances have seen the transfer rumour mill link him with a move to the Premier League, including a move to Manchester United.

Fantastic news and thoroughly deserved. We wouldn't be in this division if it wasn't for Grant. Keep up the excellent work Lee and get us in the Prem. Wonder how many teams will be looking at him now he has won this award?
will it ever happen
