Owls Set For Investment Announcement

February could be set to get even better for Wednesday fans with the club set to reveal a positive announcement regarding potential investment at Hillsborough.

Owls fans will no doubt have an enjoyable week at work and in school this week following Wednesday's 2-1 victory over rivals Sheffield United at the weekend.

And chairman Lee Strafford is set to put further smiles on Owls fans' faces this week by revealing that fresh, much-needed investment in the club is still on course and set to be met by the deadline of March 31.

An announcement on www.swfc.co.uk last week said: 'The club continues to engage in productive discussions with the Co-Operative Bank and loan note holders and we are confident of a positive outcome from this process.

'We anticipate that a further update on this matter will be available by the end of next week.'

But it's understood that an announcement could be set to appear on the official Owls website earlier rather than later this week.
