JJ Sees Red For Jamaica

Wednesday's jet heeled winger Jermaine Johnson failed to cover himself in glory on Wednesday night after being sent off for Jamaica in their clash with Nigeria.

Johnson, a star in the Owls' 2-1 victory over rivals Sheffield United at the weekend, has fast become a firm favourite for Jamaica boss John Barnes thanks to his impressive performances in the blue and white stripes.

But the former Bradford City man could be set for a spell on the sidelines as far as international matches are concerned after seeing red in the first half of Jamaica's 0-0 stalemate with Nigeria.

Johnson got a straight red card for an altercation with Nigeria's Taiye Taiwo just a minute before half-time at the clash at Millwall's The Den ground.
