Duo Set For Reserve Run Out

Owls duo Steve Adams and Jon-Paul McGovern look set to continue on their road to recovery by featuring in the Owls reserves clash with Bradford City tonight.

The pair have had injury problems throughout the season and have managed just nine appearances for the Owls between them this season.

They featured in a behind closed doors friendly match last week and came through unscathed, resulting in a place on the bench for the weekend's 3-1 victory over Wolves.

Owls boss Paul Sturrock told the official SWFC site: 'It will be nice to have them both back. If the reserve game is off we'll have a closed door game for them at the training ground on Wednesday. I had hoped to get JP 20-25 minutes on Saturday to give him a bit of confidence and a wee taste of the pace of the game, but the circumstances meant I couldn't.'

The return will be a welcome boost for the squad as the Owls fight off relegation in the business end of the season.

The match will undergo a pitch inspection at 3.30pm after heavy rain in Sheffield, and is due to commence at 7.00pm.
