Sodje Set For Owls Return

Injury absentee Akpo Sodje is set to give Wednesday fans a boost by being named on the bench for the Owls clash with league leaders Wolves tomorrow.

The former Port Vale hitman has endured a torrid time in the treatment room at S6 this season, returning from an initial injury picked up at the start of the season before having to have treatment again after a set-back from his return.

The set back has seen Owls boss Brian Laws bring Sodje back into first team action slowly but surely, and he's set to be included on the bench against Wolves, with a possible late involvement.

The powerful frontman, who netted two goals in the first game of the season before his injury, has been included in reserve outings and is only expected to make a handful of appearances before the end of the campaign as Wednesday look to ease him back for next season.
