Wade Packs Bucket And Spade

Owls wide man Wade Small, out of contract in the summer, has joined the Tangerines for a month.

The winger's Wednesday career has been punctuated with several injury-hit spells on the sidelines, and the Owls have the flank positions covered by Johnson, Esajas, Gray, Tudgay and the emerging talent of Rocky Lekaj. It seems an ideal time to move Wade off the wage bill to Blackpool (with Championship safety all but assured) and if the move is successful, we may not see him in a Wednesday shirt again.

Boss Brian Laws told the SWFC official website: 'This is a good opportunity for Wade to get some first team football under the belt in the Championship. Blackpool have a lot to play for in the coming weeks and I feel this move will suit all parties concerned. We'll be keeping a close eye on Wade's progress and hopefully he will have a successful spell at Bloomfield Road.'

i thought he was decent for us but we could do without the injuries. weve got to keep soje and jeffers and theres just no space for more than 2well known crocks in a team lol.

I can't really understand this move with us already being short on numbers before injuries. We need him here at s6!

Thought he never got a good run int he side due to injuries, etc but when he did get in I always thought he was decent. Wish him all the best - good start from him putting Dingles into relegation zone haha!
