Small Makes Big Impact At Blackpool

Wednesday winger Wade Small wasted no time in showing manager Brian Laws what he's missing by bagging a superb winner in his first game on loan at Blackpool.

Small was shipped out to the seaside club on a month's loan next week after struggling to make an impression in the Owls' first team.

But he didn't have the same trouble during his first game for Championship rivals Blackpool - netting a superb winner against Barnsley just days after making the switch to Bloomfield Road.

The former MK Dons man could well be playing for a contract with the Tangerines, with his current contract at Hillsborough set to expire in the summer.

And with Small seemingly way down the pecking ordern at S6 under Brian Laws, and failing to impress the Wednesday faithful this term, it seems he could be on his way out.

This was always going to happen. A good way to stick two fingers up without actually doing it !!!!!
