No Injury Setback For Spurr

Wednesday defender Tommy Spurr will be fit and available for the weekend clash with Swansea City after suffering no injuries from the clash with Watford on Saturday.

The young left-back was forced to withdraw from the clash with the Hornets in the first half after being involved in a clash of heads, reporting spells of being dizzy to the Wednesday bench.

The 21-year-old spent the weekend in hospital as a precaution, but Spurr has suffered no injuries from the incident and has resumed training this morning.

'Tommy staying in hospital was just a precautionary measure,' Laws told www.swfc.co.uk.

'I'm pleased to say he has come back to us with absolutely no problems. He will be available for the Swansea game.'

Spurr has been one of the Owls' player's of the season this term, attracting the interest of Premier League club's such as Aston Villa long the way.

And boss Laws will be delighted to have his young defender fit and available for the weekend's clash with Swansea City.
