Owls Close To Loan Deal

Owls Close To Loan Deal

Wednesday boss Brian Laws is edging closer to adding a loan player to his squad in time for Saturday's Championship clash with Swansea City.

Laws revealed that he was looking to add a striker or winger to his squad before the weekend, with injuries to Akpo Sodje, Leon Clarke and Michael Gray.

And Owls' fans could see a new face arrive at Hillsborough as early as today.

Marlon Harewood and Alan Lee have both been linked with moves to S6, but Harewood now seems likely to opt for a move to former club Nottingham Forest, while former Rotherham man Lee has opted for a switch to Norwich City.

Lincoln City's Dany N'Guesson is the other name to have been mentioned in the paper, but any move for the Frenchman is likely to be done in the summer.

Hopefully N'Guesson just in case he doesn't cut the mustard so we don't waist valuable time and money for next season.
