Laws' Anger At Loan Loss

Brian Laws has vented his anger after revealing the Owls have missed out on their loan target ahead of this weekend's clash with Swansea City.

The Owls boss revealed he was hopeful of bolstering his squad's attacking options this week by dipping into the loan market.

Injuries to Akpo Sodje, Leon Clarke and Michaelm Gray have left Wednesday short of options in attack.

But Laws has revealed that he's missed out on his target after the player, reported to be Alan Lee, has opted to move elsewhere at the last minute.

'I thought this deal was going to be very fruitful and I was looking forward to bringing in a new aqcuisition for the game against Swansea this weekend,' he told www.swfc.co.uk.

'However, things change and nothing surprises me in football. We had the deal done but the player has gone elsewhere purely for financial reasons.'

Lee has opted to join Championship relegation strugglers Norwich City - who the Owls face next on their travels.

well i'm glad he has, he's not good enough to get in our team, never rated him, any player that keeps moving around like he does, is not worth bothering with anyway, besides he's played for rotherham.
