Owls Go To France?

The Sunday People reports that Hull City midfielder Ryan France is on Brian Laws' wants list for next season.

28 year old France started his career in the youth ranks at Wednesday, moving to Alfreton Town in 2001. Two years later he stepped up to the Tigers and enjoyed two promotion seasons, appearing in a variety of defensive and midfield positions. He has the unique distinction of representing the club in all four divisions.

He previously told the Hull Daily Mail: 'I know my contract is up at the end of the season but I've just got to try and show the manager that I'm able to play at this level. If I get the nod off the gaffer it's an opportunity for me to show what I can do in the Premier League. Hopefully, the manager will reward me with another contract.

'But if he doesn't see me as a Hull City player next year then I'll shake his hand because I've enjoyed playing under him. I don't feel any pressure about it, this is what I love doing.'

An ex-Owl with precious few Premiership appearances this season, contract up, allegedly watched by the Owls before the last transfer deadline.. a case of 'no smoke without fire'? We shall see..

..Thought you meant pre-season tour. My mate at KCFM says he'd be keen on the move, although he's a blade.
