Adebola Linked With Owls

The transfer rumour season is in full swing, with Bristol City's experienced striker Dele Adebola the latest name linked with a move to Hillsborough.

But the Owls will face stiff competition for his signature according to media reports today, with Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers also said to be in the race to sign the powerful frontman.

The 33-year-old is still wanted at Ashton Gate, but his current deal is up at the end of the season, with Adebola currently said to be weighing up his options.

Adebola's strong presence in attack is just the kind of attribute Owls boss Brian Laws will be looking at in attack, and on a bosman transfer would fit the bill perfectly.

The frontman has scored nine goals for City this season, from 27 appearances.

I think all of our current strikers are capable of 9 a season (subject to injury), he's not getting any younger and I'm not impressed. Sorry about that.

Sorry to disagree but I think Dele Adebola is just the sort of experience you guys are going to need if you want to finish higher next season.
