Owls' McAuley On The Move?

Rumours are circulating that Owls' Academy manager Sean McAuley is on his way out of the club as soon as this week.

According to sources close to Vital Sheffield Wednesday, McAuley took the Academy teams out for dinner last week and rumours have been circulating this week that he's leaving Hillsborough for pastures new.

The Academy manager is highly thought of by Wednesday fans thanks to his performances with the youth set-up at Middlewood Road.

He also enjoyed a successful stint as caretaker manager of the first team before Brian Laws arrived at the club.

That stint saw Scunthorpe United try and get McAuley as their first team coach as part of the deal that took Laws to Wednesday - a deal which McAuley rejected.

But could he have taken his last coaching session for the Wednesday youngsters?

Keep your eyes peeled to Vital Sheffield Wednesday for all the latest updates.
