Reports Confirm Owls' Adebola Signature

Reports Confirm Owls' Adebola Signature

Reports today are circulating that Wednesday have agreed to complete the signing of Bristol City striker Dele Adebola at the end of the season.

Rumours linked Wednesday with the experienced striker last week, but reports from regional and national newspapers are indicating that a deal has been struck to see the powerful frontman in the blue and white stripes next season.

Adebola has been in good form for City this season, having bagged nine goals at the Ashton Gate club but has been weighing up his options with his contract up at the end of the current campaign.

And Owls boss Brian Laws has already revealed that he's already been looking at players to bolster his squad for next season, with the attack a priority.

The Sunday Mercury has today revealed Adebola has already agreed to join Wednesday next season, as has national tabloid the Daily Star.

You'd be hard pushed to attract a better striker than Dele Adebola, but it looks as though the deal is not signed despite what the Daily Star write and the Sunday Mercury copy.

This signing would only be stop gap for a year... i personally think we should waste our money elsewhere. CiderJar... 'we'd be hard pushed to attract a better striker than Dele Adebola'... what??!
