Spurr Suspension Confirmed

Wednesday defender Tommy Spurr will miss this weekend's home clash with Derby County following his sending-off at Norwich City.

The Owls had no complaints at the two yellow cards shown to the youngster in the 1-0 victory at Carrow Road on Saturday.

And the suspension, which will see him sit out the game with the Rams this weekend, has been confirmed today.

The news means Mark Beevers could well return to the back four, with Richard Hinds moving out to right-back, while Frank Simek will also be pushing for a recall.

Spurr will return for the Easter Monday trip to Loftus Road to take on Q.P.R.
