Win Tommy Tynan's Book

Former Sheffield Wednesday striker Tommy Tynan has released a new book - The Original Football Idol - and you can get your hands on your very own copy!

Tynan was a big hit at Wednesday under the guidance of former manager Jack Charlton, netting 31 goals from 91 appearances in the famous blue and white stripes between 1976 and 1978.

He made his name at Plymouth Argyle where he scored 73 goals from 173 appearances for the Pilgrims after becoming an apprentice at Liverpool.

Tynan also found the back of the net during spells at Newport County, Rotherham United and Doncaster Rovers.

His new book - The Original Football Idol - Tynan talks about his whole career - in which he played against Pele, and earned no more than £500 a week at every club he went to.

To win your copy - we have four to give away - all you have to do is answer the following question:

How many goals did Tynan score during his stint at the Owls?

Send your answers to sheffwed@vitalfootball.co.uk, and put 'Tynan' in your message title.

Best of luck!
