Swan Linked With Owls

The rumour mill continues to link Wednesday with countless players - this time Swansea City's Owain Tudur Jones has been reported as being on Brian Laws' list.

Despite being just a week old, Laws has been linked with the services of a number of players to bolster his squad for the 2009-10 campaign in the Championship.

But this one could well bare more substance, with the Owls having already been linked with the Liberty Stadium man in the January trasfer window.

The Welsh midfielder failed to secure a spot in the Swans' side last season, being loaned out to Swindon Town.

But his agent has revealed that a number of Championship clubs have revealed their interest in him - with the Owls being one of the clubs, and Barnsley and newly-promoted Peterborough United being the other.

I think this lad is underated, a tall combative midfield player, and would (for the right price, a free transfer) bring something new to our midfield.

if he can't get a game at swansea how good can he really be? i for one wouldn't like us to sign this lad
aussie2005
come on we need players who are struggling to get in premier league sides if we are gonna compete next year, not players that have to step down out of the championship to get a game, we need to sign some better quality if we want to start selling some season tickets
BIG TONY
Agreed aussie2005 & Big Tony, we really need to be looking at better players than this if we're serious about challenging next season

He's not getting on our bench let alone getting in the starting 11. He spent time on loan with Swindon and I think you need to be looking at much better players than Tudur-Jones.
