Owls' Friendly Dates Revealed

Wednesday are set to host not one but two home friendly matches as Brian Laws and his troops prepare for the 2009-10 Championship campaign.

The club have penned in home friendly matches for Saturday, July 25 and Saturday, August 1 before the big kick-off for the new season on Saturday, August 8.

Wednesday traditionally have just the one friendly match at Hillsborough, a Premier League club usually providing the opposition the week before the season starts.

But Vital Sheffield Wednesday believes two home matches have been penned in for the above dates.

The club have yet to confirm any dates or opposition for pre-season friendly clashes, although a trip to Malta has been rumoured to happen this summer.

Keep checking Vital Sheffield Wednesday for confirmed dates and opposition for the Owls this close season.
